First off, this first post is just going to be a quick summery, it is rather late, and I just want to get this idea started.

As some of you may remember, I am a marine, and as a marine, I enjoy to shoot fire arms. Over the years, I have acquired an increasing number of fire arms, and used a good deal more. My main interest is military arms from a number of different times. this topic is designed as a show and tell, more or less, of arms you may have, and how they may differ from the "same" weapon used in the virtual world.

my short list includes a M1 garand made late September of 1942, a mosign nagant made some time in 1942, a saiga 12 (probably my most fun arm to just shoot and have fun with), a verp chambered in 7.62x54r (same round as the mosign nagant, AND many soviet sniper rifles) for those that dont know, that rifle is a slightly modified AK-47 that shoots a full power rifle cartage and is nearly identical to the SVD, PSD, dragonove and other well known platforms. I also have a german made mauser for the spanish that was used in their civil war (pretty much the only difference between it and a K98 is the k98 fires a 7.92X57 and the spanish rifle i have shoots a 7x57). there are of course other arms i have, but to my knowledge, they are not in any 1942 mods.

EDIT: oh, and one of my 1911's Razz

I will tie into some details and differences in my next post, but if you are interested or have something to add, feel free to post. If on the otherpaw, there is no interest what so ever, I can just let the topic die

[BB]Piccolo:  I'm amazed I actually still knew my login. We Black Buccaneers certainly had a special relationship with you Cut Throats. Nothing like a fierce rivalry to make the battlefield exciting, eh? :)
