That thing is like over 10 years old now. 10 years. Think about that. 10 years ago people didn't even have cellphones because those were too expensive, colours on them was the hottest thing and you could send messages(invented by some Nokia dude), and you had snakes on it. Best GPU 10 years ago was Geforce3 and you could play games like Aliens versus Predator 2 or Empire Earth.

Why would anyone think it's wise to use a software that is so old and still ask why don't new games support it anymore? Like what else stuff you use besides houses or cars, electronic stuff that were made 10 years ago? Can you even remember tvs in 2001?

It's so annoing to read tons of threads of new games not supporting it and some long explanation why company like Microsoft should support till the end of time or how it "gives better performance" based on few early Vista/7/8 reviews that didn't even have drivers ready for it yet.

Windows XP should be a religion.

I resent how you can't buy a new PC without Windows 8 on it. After Vista, 7 finally got it right again and now that's being cast aside too. Just because you're moving forward, it doesn't mean you're going in the right direction.

This always annoyed me too, I think they should at least let you choose between the newest version (in this case Windows Cool and the previous. Microsoft has a history of delivering crap every other version.

As for xp, xp is like a rock, it was one of their best versions and a lot of people don't find anything wrong with it still. I think a lot of people don't want to move to windows 7 because it uses up more RAM than xp does, but with how cheap RAM is these days it's a pretty dumb argument. A lot of companies still use XP, but that's another topic on it's own

Fuck that. XP blows balls. Constant blue screens because some software error, fuck that. Never going back again. It was literally constant errors screens after error screens. After switching to Vista and then to 7, none. None, it was gone, so some a-holes still think it was the paradise and are crying like how XP should be the norm, the ROCK, best fucking shit ever. No, it fucking sucked.

It's the legacy, like the norm for cellphones only to use MSG's and play snake games. Give it a rest. If someone offered me a smartphone and said the main point to buy this over priced hardware was the software made in 2001!!. Holy fuck I would laugh myself out of the store, but still with the PC elitists the lie still lives, and I'm laughing and feeling sorry for anyone who only has to listen to XP religionists.

XP is still a really strong OS. However, there's some people that are still using much older operating systems.

Asking gaming companies to cater for XP would be stupid as that's not it's purpose now. I still like it more than 7, but XP wouldn't support the ram I needed to render, so upgrading was needed.

Win 7's a solid OS, could use a little tweaks, but good nonetheless.
