Wow, that video deserves to be HD-ified! M83 are really great at 'big' sounds.

While we're on the subject of "cool trailers for sports movies with M83 over the background", here's one I saw recently.

The actual movie doesn't really have a story, it really is just more HD shots of guys doing what they love and putting good music over it - it's pretty great.

I have been listening to quite a bit of stuff lately:

I have also been enjoying the Sgt. Peppers album, my trance Pandora station, and listening to my Iron Maiden and Metallica CDs.

It's funny that I should be discussing summer music since my official song of summer will be at its most relevant in a little over a week. It's a tradition that I listen to it on the Fourth every year.

Meanwhile, the best new thing I've discovered is a (for now) relatively unknown rock act called Rival Sons. If you're into the Black Keys, these guys are up your alley. If they never fall back on the usage of kitsch or gimmick with their bare-bones style, they have the potential to surpass those guys in a big way.
