Is there any way to do it? I seriously dislike the way stuff is made in W7, I want my opened stuff appear on the bottom without having to chooce from sub-application thing. I don't think I can get used to it.

Are you reffering to how if say you open two windows of Chrome, in the taskbar you have to hover on the generic Chrome icon and then select which window you want?

If so, right click the taskbar, click properties. Then from the "Taskbar buttons" drop-down options select either "combine when taskbar is full" or "never combine"

You may also want to check 'use small icons' if you're going to do 'never combine', otherwise everything's all puffy.

BTW, I'm pretty sure the Vista way was small icons and labels, but with 'combine when full' -- I remember multiple Word documents stacking and being annoying when cross-referencing between them for papers. Dunno if there was a way to disable that though.

Another good one. Vista also had this preset(big icons).

Is it possible to use small icons but still have it list the date in the lower right?
