Did anyone else see the giant ass update TF2 just got?

-more new shit
-item trading
-a whole store

I guess it makes sense that if they're gonna allow people to trade items, they have to be able to sell them individually so there's no (less) of a secret ebay 2nd market.

Anyone see the duel mode thing? I just got the sniper kit - gives him all the alligator shit to wear, the new bowie knife and piss rifle. AND my guy can't be killed by headshots with all the new shit on in-set.

I don't plan on buying anything, but so far I've traded my spys frenchmen's beret for a vintage merryweather. I crafted to try the new spys revolver/knife and the snipers dart gun, I don't like them but I think the downsides are post to be offset by the set bonus. And I've gotten 3 supply crates and the best thing is people are saying on the forums you can get a supply crate from a supply crate.

I've thought about crafting some of the new stuff, but I have enough scrap metal for another hat (got a backbiter's billycock on thursday) so I might just do that instead. The pyro hammer is probably most interesting to me. I'd use the fish instead of the bat if I had it, but it's not worth a weeks worth of drops to me.

Launched the game today and man...what have they done to this? You are lucky to even find the "play game" there anymore. Too much stuff added to a very simple and small game.

For the record the default menu and HUD is pretty bad so you should check out PVHud. The HUD is a lot cleaner and it puts the old menu back.
